Karen Ku is a strategic legal advisor with extensive experience providing pragmatic and business-minded legal counsel in both law firm and in-house environments. She has represented public and private companies at all stages of growth in a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, equity investments, capital-raising transactions, and corporate reorganizations.

She regularly counsels clients on day-to-day general corporate and commercial matters, including company formation, corporate governance, securities-related matters, general contract advice, and drafting, structuring, and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial agreements. Karen has worked with clients across a diverse range of industries, including technology, telecommunications, energy, manufacturing, and professional services.

Prior to joining the firm, Karen served as in-house corporate counsel at a Big 4 accounting and advisory firm and a publicly traded global industrial manufacturer. She also practiced as a corporate attorney in the New York office of an international law firm. Her experience in both law firm and in-house roles informs her pragmatic, business-focused approach to managing legal risk.
